    Ascent 2 shape

    Hi,

    Overall, I like this shape. In details:

    Due to the bigger distance between the two cups, lunars became even more stable than using ascent. This change increased the distance between cups and spike, hence it is better for stilts and way better for axes.

    Stalls are similarly as good as using the original ascent. Just perfect.

    As this shape is quite big, it comes heavy regarding its weight. This weight slows down flips, taps and makes difficult catching the ken on tama. However, yes, the ken is heavy, but in ken grip you do not feel it so heavy, but in tama grip, of course you feel it.

    For my hand, it is a bit big, but it does not really bother me. But for this reason, I can imagine the existence of a "mini version" of ascent 2: same shape but "small/normal hand friendly" :D

    Overall, I really do like this shape, however, later I want to try a lighter ascent 2, as well.

    The ascent 2 and cloud clear are a game changing combo!

    Always been a huge fan of cereal Kendamas especially when the Hybrid 2 dropped. It became a staple in my everyday carries and when the ascent dropped I added that as well but kept going back to the good ole H2. FWD to the Ascent 2 and it feels like the “falling in love” moment I had with the Hybrid 2 is happening all over again. Every box from thick stall points to lunar balance and insane ken flips have been checked AND to top it off with cloud clear which is hands down the best factory paint you can get, these set ups SLAP!!! 100% worth the buy to anyone reading this and needs a little push to snag!
