Purchased the red (maple) for myself and blue (ash) for a friend, both ascent. I had never tried ascent and I fell in love. It's amazing for juggles/trades, stalls, gunslingers, flips and balance tricks (I do prefer h2 for lunars through).
I am however not a huge fan of the new paint. It's more on the slippery side compared to most cushion paints like revo clear or sweets cushion and my tama even began losing grip with time. The tama is extremely stall honed through, just need a tad of water ;)
Overall I am satisfied with my order
Really great fun and a great concept. Just mine has a 13 gram weight differents between tama and Ken, which for me has really affected the play. If you have any 80 gram tamas knocking about that you want to fire over that would be amazing.

Hands down my favorite dama right now. Weight is absolutely amazeballs. Great tracking and the grain on this oak pops like a bowl of Rice Krispies!
The hybrid 2 my favorite ken.I have a lot of kendama’s to play on but the only ones I play are my performer and hybrid 2 shape. By far my favorite kendama shape so far.
